Our student S.3C Lau Pak Hei was awarded (Age group 13-15) Champion in 'The next BMW designer 2016' held by the prestigious German car brand BMW. The competition aimed to explore the potential and showcase the creativity of youngsters by letting the participants design their own signature car of Hong Kong. Lau Pak Hei’s design was inspired by a type of shark called mako sharks. Mako sharks are the fastest among all types of sharks, reaching a top speed of 60/mph. He also chose the catchy color orange for the body of the car as it provides comfort to people in nature. With the use of ergonomic designs, the car seats could provide support to the backbone and also protect the passengers from any collision. With the use of Aerogel and Aluminum alloy, the car could be more resistant to extreme temperatures and traffic conditions. Entries will be featured in the BMW calendar 2017. SA Election 2016/2017

The elections for the new Student Association of this academic year was successfully held in the school hall on 5th September. This year, there were three cabinets, Nexus, Genesis and Triangle. During the first two days of school, the cabinets canvassed their schoolmates for votes with their attractive promotional materials and banners, enveloping the school in a strong election atmosphere. During the pre-election Student Association Forum, the three cabinets were well-prepared and responded with skill and finesse to the challenging questions raised by their opponents and audience. In the election, each student was given a chance to vote for the cabinet they supported. This fully exhibited the democratic system in our school. Eventually, Nexus won the election with 331 votes, taking on the responsibility of serving our students in the new academic year.
